On Wednesday May 5th, Siv Jensen, leader of the Progress Party spoke at a luncheon organized by the Council of Arab Ambassadors to Norway. The Dean of the Council, H.E. Mr. Yahdih Bouchaab, Ambassador of Morocco, was the host and moderator of the event.


The luncheon featured a discussion on topics like the Middle East, Afghanistan, the integration of the Arab community based in Norway, and the general policy of the Progress Party. Siv Jensen also focused on human rights conditions and especially on the rights of women in Arab and Muslim countries.


Morten Høglund, foreign policy spokesperson and Kristian Norheim, international secretary, also attended the event from the Progress Party.

Dr. Ahmad A. Bamarni, Ambassador of Iraq and Mr. Yasser M. Y. Al Najjar, Ambassador of PLO (Palestine).
