The Progress Party is in favour of a strong national defence, and wants to start prioritizing investments in Norwegian defence capacities, which for many years have been downsized. Norway should actively participate in the struggle against international terrorism by cooperating internationally and participating in international operations.Under the Progress Party, NATO will remain the cornerstone of Norway’s security and the basis of Norway`s defence policy.
