Tax reliefs wanted

President of the Progress Party, Siv Jensen, supports the overall aims of the governenment's economic stimulus package, but asks for more tax reliefs.

"I fear this is too little too late", says Jensen. "I am also surprised that the government refuses to consider cutting income tax, a move taken by most other European countries", Jensen says. 

Economists, businesses and unions have all asked for tax reliefs. "I believe the government is letting ideology get in the way of good policies", Jensen says.
