The Progress Party presents alternative economic stimulus package

At a press conference today in Oslo, President of the Progress Party, Siv Jensen and Ulf Leirstein, Spokesperson on Finance, presented the Progress Party’s alternative economic stimulus package.

The stimulus package, entitled “Time for Renewal”, recommends stimulating the Norwegian economy by introducing significant tax reliefs both for businesses and for ordinary people. The Progress Party proposes tax reliefs on income tax worth 10 billion NOK.

“We are pleased to see that many economists agree with our proposals for significant tax reliefs on income tax”, says Leirstein.

The Progress Party also proposes spending 14 billion NOK on investments in infrastructure and maintenance.
